Wavely Privacy Policy Effective: July 30, 2026 · Contact: wavelyadmin@gmail.com Terms of Service: /functions/v1/terms Wavely is a mobile app where music producers share and discover short original audio loops ("Waves"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices. WHAT WE COLLECT Account data: your email address, a password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider), your handle, display name, bio, profile photo, and links you choose to add. Content you post: audio files, cover art, credit photos, comments, likes, saves, and follows. Published Waves and profiles are visible to other Wavely users. Images (cover art, profile and credit photos) are served from public URLs so they load quickly, which means anyone holding the direct link to an image can view it, even without a Wavely account. Audio is served through short-lived signed links instead, and full downloads always require an account and count against your download limit. Usage data: plays, listen duration, likes, saves, searches, and similar in-app activity. We use this to rank feeds (e.g. Popular, For You) and to operate quotas. Payments: optional subscriptions are processed by Stripe on the web. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch Wavely's servers; we store only your subscription tier and status. HOW WE USE IT To run the service: hosting and streaming your content, personalizing feeds, enforcing upload/download limits, processing subscriptions, moderating content, and preventing abuse. We do not sell your personal information or show third-party advertising. CONTENT MODERATION Uploaded images (cover art, profile and credit photos) are automatically screened by a moderation service. Text is filtered against our content rules, and users can report content and block other users in the app. We review reports and act on violations. SERVICE PROVIDERS We share data only with the processors that run Wavely: Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Fly.io (audio processing), Stripe (payments), Sightengine (automated image moderation), and Apple (app distribution; artist-name lookups query the Apple Music catalog without sending your personal data). RETENTION & DELETION Your data is kept while your account is active. You can delete your account in Settings > Delete account, which permanently removes your profile, Waves (including audio and artwork), comments, likes, and folders. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, or anti-abuse purposes. In-app notifications you have already read are deleted automatically after 90 days, and uploads you start but never publish are deleted after 7 days. YOUR RIGHTS You can access and edit your profile in the app, and request a copy or deletion of your data by emailing us. Depending on where you live (e.g. EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data — contact us and we'll honor them. CHILDREN Wavely is not directed at children under 13, and you must be at least 13 to create an account. CHANGES We'll update this page when the policy changes and note the new effective date above. Material changes will be announced in the app. CONTACT wavelyadmin@gmail.com
